McKayla Rose Maroney was an American gymnast who resigned in 2012. She also is a performer. She was awarded two gold medals during the Summer Olympics 2012: one for the American team called the Fierce Five and another as an individual in vault. Her early life. McKayla Rose Maroney born December 9, 1995, in Aliso Viejo California. She is the daughter of Erin Maroney. McKayla's Irish Catholic background is her family heritage. Her siblings are Tarynn, Kav and Tarynn. She was homeschooled to be an elite gymnast. Maroney says, "When we were younger, Tarzan would run on all fours while I used to be watching him. "I must enroll my child in gymnastics" my mom said. Lauren Drain, a former Westboro Baptist Church member and writer of Banished (2013) chronicled her experiences in the church. Lauren was married to fitness model David Kagan in August 2013. Aria Skye Kagan was born to the couple on 29th December in 2019. The couple briefly resided in Topeka however, she was haunted by thoughts of being banished from her family and church. Her mother, father along with her brother and sister are all part of the same church. However, her parents, along with two other sisters have cut all contact with her.
