Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in the US and is an actress professional for the past 27 years. From the age of 27 she has been engaged as an accomplished actress. In 1992, she was a character supporting in the movie Basic Instinct and then her career started to take off. Recently she played Dr Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.

Born into a family of golfers, Lexis was no novice to the predominantly male-dominated sport. In 2007 she was the youngest golfer in history to be selected to compete in the US Women's Open. In 2007, she did not become winning the Women's US Open however she did win the Aldila Junior Classic to be the second. She was the smallest American Junior Golf Association player (AJGA) in addition to being the youngest player to be crowned the winner of the Westfield Junior PGA Championship at that time.
