Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actor working on television, film as well as theater. An accomplished thespian, she has been active professionally from over the past 27 years. She first made an appearance on stage with an off Broadway production called The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in the year 1990. A year later she was offered her first TV role in The Perfect Tribute. The big break in her career came about in 1992 when she played a minor role in the film the film Basic Instinct. In September 2012 she was accepted to Louisiana State University, where she is pursuing a diploma. It is expected that she will graduate at this point, however the grade that she earned at her school is not yet known. Lexis was born into a family that played golf and would have had plenty of experience in the game. As a young girl of 12, she became the youngest qualified for the US Women's Open. Although she didn't win however, in 2007, she took home the Aldila Junior Classic and became the second. This was her first win at the American Junior Golf Association.
