Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue has a reputation as an American actor, producer and director who has worked in both film and television. Her acting journey began as a theater actress and then appeared in a number of television series and independent and mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. She started her career as an actor in the year 1995 as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway performance of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to film, she is best known for her roles in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her role as a regular in ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
